About

Our training partner for this training is the Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, substance abuse is increasing in America. In a 2012 survey, approximately 23.9 million Americans reported using an illicit drug or abusing a prescription medication in the past month.  Besides law enforcement, social services, and court system personnel, professionals affiliated with tribal justice systems would also benefit from this course including: * Tribal probation * Tribal Leaders * Any professional who needs to be remain current on the most abused drugs in Indian Country
