Bev has been the librarian at Davis|Kuelthau since 2001. She is responsible for library administration and research services. Prior to becoming a librarian, Bev was a litigation paralegal. She received her Master’s of Library of Science from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She also has a paralegal degree. Bev is a past president of the Law Librarian Association of Wisconsin and is a frequent speaker on issues of website evaluation, legal resources, Web 2.0 technologies, and search strategies. She has authored articles in the Wisconsin Lawyer, Wisconsin Law Journal, The Verdict, and many other professional journals. She is the recipient of the Law Librarians of Wisconsin (LLAW)- Distinguished Service Award (2015), an Unsung Hero Award Honoree - Wisconsin Law Journal (2011), and was also awarded the Scales of Justice Award - NALS Foundation (2009) and the Unsung Hero Award - Law Librarian of the Year, Wisconsin Law Journal (2008).

Holly Nilles has been the Business Office Manager and Administrative Assistant at the City of Verona, WI Police Department since August of 2010. She loves to serve, whether it be for members of her department or for the community. Outside VPD, Holly is a Revelation Wellness Certified Group Fitness Instructor and NGA (National Gym Association) Certified Personal Trainer, and she uses those certifications by offering free fitness classes to anyone in or near her community, as well as online. She has been active as a fitness instructor for the past 17 years, but since 2016 she has taught fitness solely on a volunteer basis through her fitness ministry, Forward Fit. Holly loves pouring into others and teaches her classes with an emphasis on training the heart and allowing the body to follow.

John Wallschlaeger started his career in law enforcement with the Hartland Police Department in 1994. John joined the Appleton Police Department in 2002 and achieved the rank of Sergeant in May 2009. In 2004, John became Wisconsin’s first “Memphis Model” based CIT officer after attending the 40- hour course offered at the Akron Ohio Police Department. John sees CIT as the best model of training on crisis response available to law enforcement and has helped develop it, in conjunction with NAMI Fox Valley, not only at the Appleton Police Department but throughout Wisconsin. That effort resulted in John earning the “CIT International CIT Officer of the Year Award” in 2010. John was also awarded in 2010 the “Protect & Serve Award” from NAMI WI. John recognizes that through CIT, community collaboration between the law enforcement and mental health communities is enhanced, bettering the lives of persons and families living with mental illness.
