Review pre-incident indicators and characteristics of subjects which pose an active threat. Designed to help you recognize warning signs related to these events and effectively respond if violence occurs. Actions you can take to prevent and prepare these events, and response options will be discussed. Along with tips that will assist in the development or enhancement of an emergency action plan for your school, department or organization in your tribal community.
Training is hosted by the Makah Tribe. Training is pending U. S. Department of Justice approval.
Upon completion, participants will be able to: * Describe pre-incident indicators and characteristics of an active shooter * Explain active shooter case examples * List strategies to enhance an emergency action plan for your school, department or organization
