The courthouse is a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders; all of whom are dependent on a comprehensive security plan. During this pre-conference session, you will be introduced to the philosophies of courthouse security, stakeholders, and their respective roles in threat assessment and prevention. You will learn how to conduct a basic security audit, review current security technologies, and develop a multidisciplinary approach for a safety plan, as well as, gather sample agency policies, sample facility audits, and templates for conducting safety reviews.

Conducting Court Security Assessments is a pre-conference session for the Southern Regional Court Safety and Security Conference. You may attend this session alone for $125 registration fee or attend both this session and the conference at a discount.
