Develop strategies for the implementation of AMBER Alert plans in all tribal communities throughout the state which desire the ability to initiate AMBER Alerts in the aftermath of a child abduction. During this training, tribal leaders, public safety, and emergency management personnel work with State AMBER Alert and public safety officials to identify the resources and agreements needed to bring AMBER Alert to their communities. Sample Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) and Tribal Resolutions are provided and customized to meet the needs of tribal communities. This workshop culminates with an action plan for implementation.
