Tribal communities are increasingly seeing the rise in cases of trafficking and exploitation involving native and non-native youth in and around tribal operated casinos, hotels, and travel plazas. During the workshop, you will learn about the dynamics and warning signs of human trafficking within tribal casinos and communities. Explore different types of human trafficking. Learn how to recognize domestic trafficking of children, and identify and report suspected cases. This course was designed specifically for management security personnel at tribal casinos/hotels/resorts.
The deadline to register is January 4, 2019. Class will run from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Upon completion of this training, you will be able to: • Understand the dynamics and warning signs of human trafficking and child sex trafficking • How to identify and report suspected cases of human trafficking within the casino • Utilize available local resources
