Gain critical skills for conducting effective missing and abducted child investigations. Designed to provide the tribal first responder, investigator, and supervisor with the tools they need to effectively respond and investigative complex missing and abducted children cases.
The deadline to register is July 29, 2019. During the training, you will learn best practices for responding to a missing or abducted children report, which will improve the probability of a quick recovery and lay the groundwork to support the investigation. You will also gather important procedures for investigative case management, conducting search and canvass operations, and victim support services. Particular attention will be made to the available resources and tools available to assist in the investigation.
Upon completion of this training, you will be able to: • Gain an understanding of the AMBER Alert program • Effectively plan and respond to missing and abduction cases in Native communities. • Conduct effective investigative and case management

There is NO FEE to attend this training; however, pre-registration is required. The deadline to register is July 29, 2019. Registrations will still be accepted after this date based on your qualifications to attend and if seats are still available. Tuition, student materials, and instructional costs are provided by the AMBER Alert Training & Technical Assistance Program.
