You will earn 10 credit hours when you complete all three modules. Each has a set of learning objectives. Module 1: Childhood Response to Trauma & Crisis will provide information on the importance of physiological response to trauma, and healing in action. Module 2: Serving Victims Through Collaboration will provide information on the importance of interdisciplinary communication, stakeholder cohesiveness, and developing a victim-focused vision in your communities. You will also learn about the unique partnerships that exist between victim-serving agencies and other disciplines, detail the importance of multi-agency collaboration, and set forth a best practice approach to assisting victims across multiple jurisdictions. Module 3: Victim Advocacy Services will provide information on the importance of building stakeholder support for victims, developing legal advocacy for victims, utilizing culture and traditional practices in programming for victim services, and safety planning and crisis response.
