Recognize and understand the dynamics of child sex trafficking from a single system response to a full multidisciplinary team (MDT) response by focusing on the fundamentals of exploitation.
**For information concerning continuing education units, please view our [policies](ncjtc.fvtc.edu/policies#continuingeducation) page.** This one day training will focus on the interaction between CPS, law enforcement, prosecution, and medical MDT team members, all of which are critical for a successful system response on behalf of the victim, and the successful prosecution of the offender.
Upon completion of this training, you will * Have a working knowledge of Child Sex Trafficking (CST) * Understand the similarities and differences between the traditional child abuse victim and the CST victim * Discern the role of technology in CST cases - how it is used to recruit, market, control and exploit the victim, as well as how it can be used to build the case against the trafficker.
