According to the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center, native women experience violent victimization at a higher rate than any other U. S. population. Join us for this training to explore victim, system and societal perceptions which may pose a risk of exploitation and sex trafficking to children in tribal communities. Learn effective interview techniques to obtain a full disclosure from victims. Through the use of a case study, examine the challenges system stakeholders encounter providing protection to children. Participate in a facilitated discussion, leveraging the experience and knowledge of the community, to identify strengths, resources and possible gaps in service for the response for child victims of exploitation and sex trafficking.
