The National Criminal Justice Training Center of Fox Valley Technical College collaborated with the University of Massachusetts Lowell to study the impact information sharing has on the management of sex offenders. The study documents strengths and opportunities related to the implementation of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA) and contains recommendations including expanded investments in technology focused on field based operational demands; refinement of SORNA standards and increased efforts to build and strengthen communities of practice.
