Join us for the AMBER Alert Region 2 Coordinator Meeting to explore the key role and challenges for the Public Information Officer and messaging during an AMBER activation. Gain additional knowledge on the AMBER in Indian Country Initiative to improve your regional and local response. Explore alerts used to target vulnerable populations. Participate in a discussion to review and compare best practices utilized by AAC in your region.
The deadline to register is March 2, 2020. AMBER Alert Coordinators, Clearinghouse Managers, and CART Members are invited to attend this meeting.
Upon completion of this training, you will be able to: • Identify the key role and challenges for the Public Information Officer during an activation • Leverage the AMBER in Indian Country Initiative • Identify alerts used to target vulnerable populations • Utilize strategies of practices utilized by AAC in your region.

Registrations will still be accepted after this date based on your qualifications to attend and if seats are still available.
