Andrew is currently a sworn law enforcement officer assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division – Cellular Analysis Survey Team (CAST). He is a subject matter expert in numerous fields and specializes in electronic surveillance, cellular network engineering data, radio frequency surveys, communications data analysis, and various other technology related disciplines. He has testified as an expert witness numerous times at local, state, and federal judicial proceedings throughout the nation. Andrew has also testified as a subject matter expert before the Tennessee General Assembly. Prior to joining TBI, Senior Special Agent Vallee worked as a Detective with the Metro Nashville Police Department. He has worked in law enforcement since 2000 and has been a certified law enforcement instructor since 2004. He teaches several courses through TBI which include Communications Intelligence, CAST courses, Technical Updates, Intercept (Title III) Certification Program, Digital Evidence, and Special Agent Academy, and many others. He is also an Instructor Trainer and Course Developer in cooperation with the National Domestic Communications Assistance Center (NDCAC). Andrew has been instructing several courses with the National Criminal Justice Training Center since 2012 which include Mobile Device Investigations, Casting the Digital Footprint, Digital Evidence, Technology Investigations in Missing and Abducted Children, and various modules within the AMBER Alert program. He is also the lead instructor and coordinator for the AMBER Alert Technology Investigations program.
