Understand, recognize, and respond effectively to investigations involving missing, endangered, and abducted children. Learn how to identify and manage physical evidence to aide in the recovery of the victim and successful prosecution of the suspect. Improve critical skills needed to conduct effective canvassing investigations, search strategies, tactics, and methods to recover abducted children. Practice what you have learned using a scenario exercise where you will establish a search/canvass command post, assign individual responsibilities, and develop a response plan to address a continuing abduction scenario. Explore relevant legal issues, including search warrants and suspect interrogation techniques related to missing, endangered and abducted children cases.
