Please see below for more details.*** 1) **Orientation** *(2 hours)* * Online Training—30-45 minutes each (Self-paced – submit certificates of completion to National DEC). Access [HERE](https://www.nationaldec.org/ourtraining)       -Drug Endangered Children (DEC) Overview       -You Can Change the Long-Term Outcomes of Drug Endangered Children       -Prenatal Substance Exposure – Why Should I Care?       -Postnatal Risks – How You Can Make a Difference 2) **DEC Awareness** *(2 hours)* * The DEC Awareness Training helps participants gain awareness about drug endangered children, the risks they face and the long-term impacts; understand the many opportunities to identify children at risk; learn the importance of early identification and intervention to change the trajectories of the lives of drug endangered children and break multigenerational cycles. 3) **DEC Approach** *(2 hours)* * This training focuses on how to implement the DEC Approach, which is a strategy based on a common vision, ongoing collaboration between various disciplines and agencies, and ongoing changes in practice. The DEC Approach is effective in improving the likelihood of better outcomes for drug endangered children. 4) **Marijuana: The Danger Remains** *(2 hours)* * This session, led by one of National DEC’s subject matter experts, outlines the risks children face whether marijuana is legal or not. The trainer will discuss the risks to children growing up in households where marijuana and marijuana products are consumed, grown, processed, and sold. 5) **Intersection of DEC and Human Trafficking** *(2 hours)* * During this introductory training, participants will learn and understand the connections between drug endangered children and human trafficking which are often overlooked by many disciplines.
