Justice Teams Training to Support Community Corrections
Identify the obstacles justice teams have in effectively implementing community corrections programs. Explore and practice problem-solving methods. Develop an action plan to address the identified barriers to program success.
Throughout this training, identify and examine an array of resources and problem-solving strategies that will support the planning and implementing of your community corrections program. Your team will explore the six step process as a guide for successful completion of project goals and deliverables, including developing an action plan the will enhance collaboration and highlight new resources that will support your justice team. Based upon the host site location, you may also have the ability to interact with justice teams from other tribal communities and learn about the strengths within other jurisdictions.
