Greg Brown has been working in the corrections field for over 32 years. He is the former chief probation officer in the 20th Judicial District of Colorado. Greg has worked with both adult and juvenile populations and in a variety of specialized programs. He has extensive experience in the supervision, treatment and management of juvenile and adult offenders, including domestic violence and sex offenders. In addition, Greg has spent considerable time developing specialized programs, including specialized enhanced domestic violence offender programming, a gender specific female team of officers with expertise in women’s issues, problem solving courts, standards, policies, restorative justice programs and best practices for the community based management of high risk offenders. Greg is a program manager with the National Criminal Justice Training Center at Fox Valley Technical College.

Dr. Nandi is an instructor with the National Criminal Justice Training Center of Fox Valley Technical College. She is also the Chief Probation Officer for the 20th Judicial District for the State of Colorado. Additionally, Dr. Nandi is a published author having co-authored nine books.

Ms. Thomforde Hauser is the Associate Director of Gender and Family Justice Programs at the Center for Court Innovation in New York, NY. Working from a perspective of social justice and grounded in collaboration, Rebecca assists jurisdictions nationally to enhance their court and community response to domestic and sexual violence. Rebecca engages communities to identify internal strengths and challenges in their efforts to address domestic and sexual violence, abusive partner intervention and engagement, provides on-going support in those efforts, including training to judges and court stakeholders on a variety of domestic violence issues, focusing on evidence-based best practices, risk needs assessment, abusive partner intervention and engagement and victim safety.

Robyn provides assistance and strategic planning advice to courts and communities who are interested in enhancing their response to gender-based violence by sharing research and best practices, reviewing policies and protocols, conducting needs assessments and providing ongoing consultation. Robyn also coordinates and provides training to judges and community leaders across the U.S. and internationally on the issues of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking and barriers faced by justice involved women and families. Robyn is an attorney and has extensive experience in the field of intimate partner violence, procedural fairness and access to justice. Before joining the Center, Robyn worked at the National Network to End Domestic Violence in Washington, DC and the House of Ruth in Baltimore, MD.
