The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Formula Grant Program provides support to tribal communities to enhance services for victims of crime through activities that address the needs of a wide variety of crime victims in tribal communities. This noncompetitive program is open only to federally recognized tribal governments (applying individually or as consortia) and Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANSCA) regional corporations, and their designees.
To learn more about the FY 2022 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Formula Grant Program and to help you prepare for the two-phase application process, please join OVC for an informational pre-application webinar on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm, EST. OVC staff will discuss the purpose and goals of the FY 2022 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Formula Grant Program. Presenters will also review eligibility requirements and the application process (specifically the population certification phase), and address frequently asked questions. OVC Presenters are Bonnie Robertson and Lori Gardner and OVC Moderators are Jessica Andrew and Katherine Darke Schmitt. Participation in this webinar, although encouraged, is optional, and is not required for the submission. If your tribe intends to participate in the FY 2022 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Formula Grant Program you must submit the **[Population Certification](http://ovc.ojp.gov/tribal/fy-2022-tvssa-population-certification-form.pdf)** form to **OVCTribalSetAside@ojp.usdoj.gov** by 11:59 p.m. (Alaska time) on February 15, 2022. Include “Population Certification Form” in the subject of your email. Population certifications will be used to determine formula award amounts for each applicant. Those applicants will then be invited to submit a full application under a subsequent solicitation to be released later in 2022. If you have questions about the population certification, contact OVC at OVCTribalSetAside@ojp.usdoj.gov.
