Andi Hamilton
Associate, National Criminal Justice Training Center
Andi Hamilton is a Special Agent with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) and an EMDR-trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Over the last 30 plus years, Hamilton worked with psychiatric patients, sex offenders, Oklahoma City bombing survivors, and maltreated minors. At the OSBI, Hamilton has worked on major crimes, ICAC, and child maltreatment cases. The work negatively affected her physical and emotional health. It felt normal to be stressed out and overwhelmed. It was only after being assigned to the First Responder Wellness Division and talking with peers that she realized it was okay to admit it was time to focus on her own health and well-being.
