Upon completion of this series, you will be able to: * Gain a deeper understanding of the impact of trauma on the brain; Learn at least three skills to attend, recognize and respond to a trauma response. * Apply at least three skills they can use immediately to engage someone in a conversation about trauma they have experienced and effectively support survivors, community members and professionals; recognize barriers we inadvertently create in conversations with those responsible for the harm and survivors about healing, change and strategies to overcome those barriers; effectively enhance interactions with survivors and those responsible for addressing the harm that has been caused. * Practice fundamental restorative process; describe important facilitator skills and qualities; Recognize benefits, contexts and spectrum of restorative practices and limitations including cases involving homicides and violence.
