Fight to End Exploitation is a recognized leader and collaborative network that fights human trafficking in Wisconsin. With over 25 years of non-profit development experience, she has received numerous awards recognizing her innovative strategies in anti-trafficking work, including the first recipient of the City of Racine's Unsung Hero Award. Karri first developed & now oversees a specialized, professional advocacy team that has assisted over 500 sex and labor trafficking victims. As member of several law enforcement task forces, she participates in proactive recovery efforts in partnership with federal, state, & regional agencies. She specializes in developing & leading customized training for professionals who work with sexually exploited and high-risk individuals. Karri serves as the human trafficking & endangered and missing children support specialist for the Racine Police Department in Racine, WI, and as a subject matter expert with the National Criminal Justice Training Center.

Carrie is a specialist on the Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Division of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and has 22 years of experience working with vulnerable children, families, and child abuse multi-disciplinary team (MDT’s). She spent 15 years as a CPS Investigator and CPS Supervisor, concentrating on criminal child abuse and supervising CPS units at Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) and the Irving Family Advocacy Center (IFAC). In 2017 she joined DCAC’s team and spent the next 5 years implementing new programs, including the Problematic Sexualized Behavior Program and High-Risk Youth Programs. As the previous Director of MDT Services and High-Risk Youth at DCAC, Carrie served as Lead Care Coordinator, collaborating with MDT leadership teams to create and launch Dallas County’s Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Youth Care Coordination Team. Carrie provides guidance to Multi-disciplinary Teams across Texas and the US.
