Cathy Delapaz   Detective - Dallas Police Department

Cathy Delapaz is one of the country’s foremost experts on Child Sexual Exploitation Investigations. She is a retired 34-year veteran of the Dallas Police Department where she worked as a Detective in the Crimes Against Children Unit for 18 years. Cathy has investigated thousands of child sexual abuse cases, to include high profile authority figure cases, child abduction cases, child sex trafficking cases, child homicides, and cold case murders. Cathy is the co-founder of the nationally recognized High Risk Victim Model implemented by the Dallas Police Department in 2003. The model is responsible for the recovery of on-average 200 CST victims a year from 2003 through 2017, resulting in many criminal cases filed against traffickers and buyers. Cathy has a Masters Degree in Adult Education and is currently the Curriculum Manager for the AATTAP.
