Explore practical, skills-based strategies to strengthen and standardize case management practices that support recovery, accountability, and long-term stability in Tribal communities. Participants will examine core case management functions—including engagement, assessment, planning, coordination, monitoring, and closure—across justice, behavioral health, and community-based settings. The course focuses on culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches, professional boundaries, confidentiality in small and Tribal communities, and effective multidisciplinary collaboration. Through case scenarios and applied tools, participants will develop actionable strategies to improve consistency, strengthen service delivery, and support individuals and families impacted by substance use and behavioral health challenges.
