When a child is being victimized through sex trafficking, the first sign may not be a disclosure. It may be something seen, heard, or noticed by a professional who recognizes that something is not right. This course equips law enforcement, child protection, 911/telecommunications personnel, healthcare, emergency medical, school staff, and victim service providers to identify, interpret, and assess indicators they may encounter. No single professional sees the whole picture. By examining trafficking through the lens of multiple systems, the course reveals what others may see, hear, or learn and how those pieces can connect. This broader perspective strengthens the ability to distinguish potential indicators, recognize patterns that might otherwise be missed, and identify when a child may be a victim of sex trafficking.
