Dustin has been in law enforcement for the past 12 years. In my time with the Burbank Police Department, he has been assigned to patrol, Neighborhood Police Team, Gangs, and School Resource Officer. Joe left active duty in 2019 as a Marine Raider and decorated Special Operations Officer in Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC). Joe served as the ground force commander for hundreds of combat operations in Afghanistan and elsewhere. He is the recipient of multiple commendation medals for valor in combat, and two Purple Hearts.

Leeana Liska provides specialized support to victims and their non-offending family members as they navigate the criminal justice system and begin to heal from their trauma. She has experience providing both system based and community-based advocacy and has specialized training to provide trauma informed care to victims of technology facilitated crimes.

Mark Yarbrough was elected to five terms as the Lamb County & District Attorney and served for 20 years, prosecuting everything from death penalty cases to DWIs. He served on the board of directors for the Texas District & County Attorney’s Association, and is a member of the National District Attorney’s Association. Michael Chase, a hero of the Boston Marathon bombing, teaches kindness as a lifestyle. Chase, evaded fatal physical harm, but did not remain unscathed. He still struggles with the memories, images, and impact of the actions of a human with seemingly no humanity. With destruction comes creation and from the shrapnel an inspirationalist arose. In 2018, Chase brought 15 years of experience working with some of the most challenging youth in the greater Boston area as a special educator as he joined the staff at Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School, as their School Resource Officer. In 2019, Chase pitched an idea to the leadership team at the school. He wanted to share his experience from the bombing at the Boston Marathon with students and staff in hopes of positively impacting this school community. Months later, Kindness Week at Essex North Shore was created and is now an annual event.
