This presentation highlights the response to the abduction of 10 year old Ashley Johnson-Barr on September 6, 2018 from Kotzebue, Alaska. The presentation will include a panel of responders who participated in the search for Ashley, who will provide their insight and experience during the search and aftermath of the incident. Participants will gain insight into the role of community coordination and the importance of the AMBER Alert in Indian Country program.
